My favourite picture

That picture was taken about two years ago, it was a Sunday day in November a week before I gave the PSU. A group of the pre-university where he was decided to make a trip to a hill near Melipilla as a reason to end the process and also spend a pleasant moment in a unique experience. At that time I was not having a great time, because I felt a bit pressured and stressed by the PSU issue and the subsequent results, I was afraid that I would go wrong and feel like a failure, so that exit served me well. A lot to think and meditate. I think we spent about two hours climbing the hill and at least it was not very sunny. Once we reached the top, we realized the dimensions of the world we live in, the landscape was amazing, and how small and tiny everything looked was impressive to see. At that moment I thought, that we are so insignificant in comparison to the world in which we live, that the only thing we have to look for is to enjoy life and what surrounds us, since we should be privileged to have what we have, and not we have to be angry about insignificant things or unimportant things. This photo I consider one of the best that I have taken since you can clearly see the proportion of what I am vs the world in which we live.

My postgraduates studies

Well, when I finish my engineering career in food I would like to take advantage of and follow a doctorate or magister, but in reality I have no idea in what area it can be, since, fortunately, the career has and covers several fields such as management, laboratory , research, etc.

But what I have in mind is to get some specialty at the end of the race, and hopefully in Chile or abroad. If I had to decide now, if I were in a foreign country, it should be a country where they spoke Spanish, since nowadays I do not use English and less another language to go to study in another country. Although I have the conviction that by the time I leave university I will manage English much better, so as to be able to develop myself at any time that is necessary. But if I had to choose a country to go to Norway or Finland, especially because they are countries in which it is known that there is a quality of life that is the best in the world, I consider it something fundamental and hopefully stay to live there jajajaj.

I would like to continue my studies abroad because in Chile the field of science is very little developed compared to other countries, where they give more importance. But you never know what might happen in the future and maybe I'll stay in Chile.

MY OBSSESSION: THE MUSIC

My obsession??

I think, and my obsession is the music. I need music in my life. When I travel to university in the bus, I need listen to music with my headphones, because the music do what my life to be more funny. When I study, I listen playlist what help me to concentrate, how classic music or acoustic music, I don’t have preferences. When I practice sports, the music is more important for the motivation, because is very bored do it without music. I think what music is present at all times of the day, of the week, of the life.  

When I arrive at my house after a long day of university, I need take my acoustic guitar and play, sometimes pass 30 minutes or 1 hour and I do not realize. 

Every time what go to Melipilla, i play keyboard and electric guitar. Listening to how that guitar sounds is amazing, for me, literally, is music for my ear.

In the high school, when I had 13 years hold, with my school friends, we created a band. We share the same feeling for the music, and the same way of living life.

The music is all, it presented in every moment, every time and every place.

The most embarrassing thing i will admit

When I was 5 years old, i going in Kinder and one day in the break, I was playing with my friends and I feel everything goes black.  More lately I wake up and I feel headache. Well, I crashed against metal post jajaj. About a week each person in the school laughed me. After them, I take with good mood.

In 2013, I was in the school and the second year of secondary. And I had a rock band with my friends of classmates. I play songs of the Beatles, and one day we are presented in a school festival. Well, minutes before we were introduced, we were in dressing rooms getting ready to play and on stage there was a musical show with dancers and singers. At that time I do not know what I thought, but I took the stage. I remember that I heard many shouts about getting off the stage, because the show continued and only i reacted to get back to dressing rooms jajajaj. My friends laughed too much and still remember it.

I don’t remember more embarrassing things but when I remember the ones that have happened to me, I still feel very embarrassed.

My favourite concert

I have two favourite concerts in my life, Silvio Rodriguez concert and the Beats concert.

In my opinion, Silvio Rodríguez is one of the most important musicians in Latin America and the world. His songs are very beautiful and his lyrics have a special feeling. Songs  like: Ojala, oleo de una mujer con sombrero, Santiago de chile, ángel para un final, etc. In May 2015, Silvio Rodríguez gave a concert in Chile, and I went. The harmony that was special and the way what him play the guitar are amazing. Since this day, Silvio Rodriguez is a one inspiration musical for me.

The Beats are a tribute band of The Beatles. Personally, The Beatles are the best group in the history of the music. Not only because the fame what they had, were writing many songs and almost all are a very good. Songs like: help!, something, she loves you, twist and shout, etc. In 2012, we went to see The Beats, with my father and my brother. In this concert, i sing all songs, and I believe, if they had played more songs, I would have sung them.

A country i would like to visit

Heeello!

A country i would like to visit is England. I like England because they have the best league of soccer in the world: The Premier League. And i be fanatic to Arsenal Football Club, this is it to more famous club of football in England and is very famous in the world. My dream is to go England and visit London for the watch matches of Arsenal in his stadium: Emirates Stadium. Everyone who visited the Emirates stadium commented that it is a unique experience.

Besides visit England I would like visit Italy. Because, in my opinion, Italy owns the most beautiful places of the world. For example: Amalfi Coast, Venice, Roma, etc. These places have a special harmony what never find in other place. My sister visit Italy and this places this year, and the pictures what she took are too beautiful the which I was lovely.

Maybe, more years later, when I finish my university career and I work in some job, probably i visit England and Italy:( .

People communication

Personally, I believe that all the young people of my generation were born in a golden age of communication and its technological advances. We are happy to have accessibility within a single click, we can get all the information we want with just being connected to a Wi-Fi network, we can communicate with a loved one no matter how much distance we are, those are the advantages of the modern era in which we live.

Today the day, who is not connected to the network, is more a disadvantage than an advantage, due to the amount of facilities and services that the internet gives you.

However, according to me, especially in terms of information, there is a misuse or erroneous on the part of Internet users. The amount of information on the network is not efficiently used, which could be used profitably for all of us.

I feel that the writing has evolved quickly, also that it is taken hand in hand with the advance of communication. Every time there are more ways to communicate and totally different, writing, sign language, non-verbal communication, paraverbal communication, braille system, etc.

communication and writing are evolving hand in hand, as as a society and part of this world we are modernizing.

The power of my Mind



I think the brain and the mind controls all about a persons. The way of think, to be, to love, to eat, to live the life, to reason out, relate to others, etc.

The different capacities depends of the way brain and mind of worked. For example: someone who likes music or plays an instrument, he knows and his brain to working for sing a song, play the guitar, or anything. The brain and the mind send signals for what mi voice can be sing the song or my hands can play the guitar.

In the university, you learn different ways of work or solve the problems in the tests, exams and laboratory controls. At the moment of confront a problem, the brain and the mind reason so that it can be solved in the fastest, easiest and clearest way possible.

The mind is the set of cognitive faculties that encompass processes such as perception, thought, consciousness, memory, etc. And is located in the brain, specifically in the Hippocampus.

There are different pathologies what can be alter the function of the mind or brain, for example: Antisocial personality disorder, Obsessive compulsive disorder, Dyslexia, Schizophrenia, Self-harm/suicide, etc.

I can help by keeping the brain always functioning and keeping my mind healthy.

Laboratory of general chemistry

The best subject what I had is laboratory of general chemistry. It this is subject of first year of food engineering in the University of Chile, specifically of second semester. If you want take this subject, you have to pass the subjects, general chemistry 1 and laboratory techniques, they are subjects of first semester. Laboratory of general chemistry has a theorical and other practical part. The theorical part to consist of a practical guide, which must be studied and that must be learned because in the practical part, I have to do everything that the guide says.

I like this subject because is a combination of general chemistry 1 and general chemistry 2, in the sense that I had experiments that contained subject matter of the mentioned subjects. And the experiments were very funny, I looked a different colors in the reactions, learned to work in group because the practice part was done in pairs.

 The best thing I did is the practical: “Titulacion”. I think that's the most perfect experiment I did, since I remember not being wrong.

More lately, I like to be assistant of laboratory of general chemistry.

Louis Pasteur

Louis Pasteur is a French chemist and bacteriologist, who contributed and was important in many fields of natural sciences, such as chemistry and microbiology. He was born on December 27, 1822 and died on September 28, 1895, at the age of 72 years. He is responsible for the well-known technique called Pasteurization. Through experiments he definitively refuted the theory of spontaneous generation and developed the germinal theory of infectious diseases.

Louis Pasteur was an average student in his early years but was gifted for drawing and painting. His cakes and portraits of his parents and friends, made when he was 15 years old, are preserved in the Museum of the Pasteur Institute in Paris.He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree (1840) and Bachelor of Science (1842) at the École Normale Supér I consider Louis Pasteur, someone fundamental for the field of science and especially for the field of food with his method of pasteurization. After briefly serving as a professor of physics at Dijon Lycée in 1848, he became professor of chemistry at the University of Strasbourg.

his best-known experiment is that of pasteurization, treatment of wine, beer and milk to prevent it from causing diseases. It consists of eliminating microorganisms that can degrade wine, beer or milk, after enclosing the liquid in well-sealed vats and raising its temperature to 44 degrees Celsius for a short time.
